Applying Groups

Groups applied to detail lines in your budget will help organize your data, can quickly suppress lines you no longer want calculated, and help in quickly filtering for reports or sub-budgets.

Group Colors

In Groups Setup you can select a color for each group to display in the budget. The text for any detail line will be colored to match the selected color for the Group with the highest color Priority applied to the line. If no Groups are applied with a Priority, then the color will be based on the last Group that is applied to the line.

You can also view the list of Groups applied to each line by enabling the Groups Column, using the menu button (three dots) to add that column.

Suppressing Groups

Use the InBT column in the Groups Setup Table to toggle whether or not those associated Detail lines are suppressed. They will be marked with a light grey color and not included in budget calculations or totals.
