Split-Screen Mode¶
Movie Magic Budgeting's split-screen mode allows you to view two Budgets at once without having to manually move or resize multiple windows.
Entering Split-Screen Mode¶
- With more than one budget open...
- Select one budget so that it's tab is active
- Click the menu button (three vertical dots) on that tab
- Click
Open in Split-Screen
- That budget will move into a right-hand pane
- The Apply Tools panel will close (if it is currently open)
Using Split-Screen Mode¶
Click the tab of the budget you want to edit. Your current active budget will be identified by a blue dot to the left of the Budget name in the budget tab.
Use the Tools
(green square) switch to enable the Apply Tools pane. Tools are only available docked to the bottom when in split-screen mode.
Move Budgets Between Panes¶
You can move an open budget between the left and right pane in split-screen mode if more than one budget tab exists in that pane.
- Select the tab of the budget you want to move
- Click the menu button (three vertical dots) on that tab
- Select
Move to Right Pane
orMove to Left Pane
Exiting Split-Screen Mode¶
- Select the tab of one of your open budgets
- Click the menu button (three vertical dots) on that tab
- Select
Exit Split-Screen
All your budgets will still be open, but their tabs will be collapsed into one main window.
