Find & Replace: Amounts, Rates, and Multipliers

Movie Magic Budgeting can find specific values for Amt, X, 4X, or Rate columns based on an exact match to the field's value.

Note: If want to find & replace a specific Global as a part of a calculation in any of these fields, use Find & Replace: Globals.

Find by Amounts, Rates, or Multipliers

  • Open the Find tool
  • Select Amount (column), X (column), 4X (column), or Rate (column) as the Find type
  • Type exact value you are looking for

The Results table below will display any lines that match your search term.

The Account number where the matching detail line can be found is listed first, and may display multiple line results for each account.

The specific value you had searched for will be highlighted in red. The most relevant matches will be listed first.

Note: That these searches expect an exact match of the final value of the cell. If you search for "100" you will not find any matches that result in "1000", nor will you find any matches that have 100 as a part of the calculation that doesn't end up as 100.

Click the Go To arrow button for a result to jump to that account.
